Legal Practice:

Swetha joined 5 St James Court upon being called to the Mauritian Bar in January 2024, after having completed her pupillage at the Chambers, under the supervision of Me. Avinash Sunassee.

Swetha had started her legal career at Chambers in 2016, after having completed her LLB (Hons). She was working as a Legal Assistant whilst studying part-time for the GDL and the bar exams respectively.

Swetha practices across a whole range of areas of law in line with Chambers profile.

She is also developing a diverse legal practice that covers both litigation and transactional matters and advice.

Swetha accepts briefs as sole counsel for the Bail and Remand Court, District and Intermediate Court and for Family Division matters.
